Xiaomi recently started rolling out a new MIUI 9.5.6 build based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it didn’t last long as early adopters started reporting issues with the camera, notifications, vibration system and other stuff. This forced Xiaomi to pull down the update and even though there was no mention of when the rollout would resume, it appears that things are back to normal

This comes after a new MIUI 9.5.11 build appeared online alongside download links to the ROM, implying that the rollout has effectively resumed. Of course, the new update is still based on Oreo 8.1 and only comes to fix bugs in the previous version and improve system stability.

You have the option to watch out for the OTA update, but there’s also room to grab the download files and do the installation on your own using TWRP recovery or simply use the MIUI system updater app. Some Redmi Note 5 Pro users are reporting that the incremental OTA isn’t working for them but the full recovery ROM is. Nonetheless, we have both links below.

Download either of the two files below and install them to update your device to Oreo. If the incremental update doesn’t work, the Full ROM will surely work.
