Of late, we’ve been continuously hearing that Xiaomi will be launching a new handset with a near bezel-less display for less than CNY 1,000. As it turns out, the smartphone in question could be none other than the upcoming Redmi Pro 2.
A new leak coming in from China suggests that Xiaomi’s Redmi Pro 2 will feature a Tianma produced 5.46-inch bezel-less screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 (or 2:1). The leak also reveals that the smartphone’s display will carry a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
Furthermore, it claims that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will don a glass body. Under the hood will be the Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 660 chipset teamed up with 4GB of RAM. There should be at least 64GB of onboard storage with the option to expand it later.
