Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its budget friendly device Redmi 4A in India. The new variant comes with additional RAM and internal storage.
While the original variant features 2GB RAM and 16GB memory, the new variant sports 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. Other features remain same in both the variants.

Xiaomi launched the 16GB variant in India in March for INR 5,999. Now the 32GB variant is also available at budget price of INR 6,999. For those who are looking to buy a new phone, the base model of Xiaomi Redmi 4 is also available for INR 6,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A features 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC and has a hybrid dual-SIM card slot.
In the camera segment, it sports a 13-megapixel rear sensor with PDAF. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture. Redmi 4A is powered by a 3120mAh battery and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Redmi 4A 32GB variant will be available on all leading e-commerce websites such as Amazon, Flipkart, TataCliQ, Paytm and on the company’s official website Mi.com starting August 31.
