Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which was launched last year, has received a price cut in China. The smartphone, which was originally priced at 2799 Yuan, is now available for 2499 Yuan.
There could be two reasons behind the price cut. First, people were not happy with the display of Mi Note 2 and hence, there were fewer sales at this price. Now that the price has been dropped by 300 Yuan, sales of Mi Note 2 might grow.
Another reason could be the upcoming Mi Note 3. There have been many rumors and leaks about the Mi Note 3, which suggest that the device might launch soon.
To recall, Mi Note 2 features Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB memory. It is powered by massive 4070mAh battery. Further, Mi Note 2 features 5.7-inch display with 3D surface glass.
On the other hand, the upcoming Mi Note 3 will feature Snapdragon 836 processor and dual curved AMOLED display from Samsung.
