Xiaomi recently confirmed 25 May for the Mi Max 2, and now today, they have officially announced its phablet, Mi Max 2, at an event in China.
The Mi Max 2, which is a successor to Mi Max, will feature a large 6.44-inch display. It comes with a thin all-metal body and rounded arc waist. The grip is more comfortable and the side of the device has been reduced by 53%. Moreover, the design is elegant and symmetrical and includes a hidden antenna. And for what it’s worth, the device is easy to operate with one hand.
In the camera segment, the device houses 12MP rear camera that comes with 1.25µm pixel Sony IMX386 sensor, dual LED flash, and supports Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), dark light quality enhancement technology and HDR among other interesting features. It’s the same camera that’s housed inside Xiaomi Mi6 too, as primary cam of the dual camera that the Mi6 features.
The other specs of the device include 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory, however, the USP of the device is the massive 5300mAh large battery that supports 3.0 quick charging. Moreover, the all-metal body of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 houses a rear fingerprint scanner and is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor.
