Xiaomi Mi Max 2, which was launched in China in May this year, will be released in India on July 18. The official Twitter handle of Xiaomi India has teased a poster for the official launch of the upcoming device.
The poster mentions, “Big is back”, which indicates it will be launching the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phablet in India. The device was recently launched in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Russia.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2, which is the successor of last year’s Mi Max is a top end budget phablet that features a huge screen size of 6.4 inch. Inside the smartphone is powered by power efficient Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory.
In the camera segment, the device houses 5MP front camera and 12MP rear camera with 1.25μm pixel Sony IMX386 sensor and dual Led flash.
The USP of the device is the huge 5,300mAh battery that also supports Quick Charging 3.0. Not only that, the Mi Max 2 can even charge other smartphones.
Further, the Mi Max 2 will feature Android 7.1.1 Nougat coupled with MIUI 8. The device sports an all metal body, infrared remote control and rear fingerprint sensor.
Although price details are not mentioned, it could be priced around 15000-18000 INR.
