Air quality can significantly affect the lives of people. Living in a pollution-free environment translates into a better quality of life, but the trouble is most of us live in busy urban areas.
Thankfully, there are things you can do as an individual in order to breath better air. Like getting an air purifier into your home.
However, most of these type of devices don’t come cheap. Luckily, that’s not the case of the Xiaomi’s Mi Air Purifier 2S. The product was just launched in India and will go on sale for Rs. 8,999 on Friday, September 28 at 12 pm. Customers will be able to get it off the Mi.com website, Amazon.in and Flipkart.

So what’s the Mi Air Purifier 2S all about? Well, it comes equipped an OLED digital display which shows real-time air quality, current temperature, humidity levels and more. The panel also boasts auto brightness adjustment.
As for the air purification features, the Mi Air Purifier 2S includes a high precision laser sensor that can actually detect tiny dust particles as small as 0.3-micron pixels. Moreover, there’s also a 360-degree triple-layer filter that can remove PM2.5 matters, allergens, and bacteria.
The device is made even more appealing by the presence of both the Google Assistant and Alexa on board. So users will be able to control the air purifier by using vocal commands. The product is very energy efficient, as Xiaomi says it consumes only 4.8W when in night mode.

Alongside the Mi Air Purifier 2S, Xiaomi is also bringing Mi Home Security Camera 360 and Mi Luggage to India.
