Xiaomi unveiled its flagship handset, the Mi 6 back in April. Now, all of us expected the company to launch the Mi 6 Plus as well during the same event, but to our surprise, the company didn’t, suggesting that the Plus variant will be launched a couple of months later.
It seems like the company is all geared up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. A new image leaked online today revealing what appears to be the back case of the Mi 6 Plus placed beside the iPhone 7 Plus back case.
As you can clearly see from the above image, the Mi 6 Plus’s case is slightly bigger than that of the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus case. What this essentially means is that the smartphone will come with a slightly bigger footprint, probably a 5.7-inch one as rumored earlier.

Also, previous leaks pointed at a QHD display. So, chances are we will see a 5.7-inch QHD display on the Mi 6 Plus. Apart from that, there will be a dual camera setup on the back akin to the standard Mi 6 variant.
The Snapdragon 835 SoC (obviously) will power the device. It is believed to pack 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of ROM. There were rumors indicating the presence of 8GB of RAM earlier. But, that’s something we will know only when the device is officially launched.
You can also expect a bigger battery, around 4,500mAh to keep the lights on. We should get to see more details surfacing on the internet soon as we approach the launch date.
