Xiaomi’s 2017 flagship phone is inching closer to its global launch. The phone has got listed on Xiaomi’s global website hinting that the Chinese OEM is preparing to launch it globally.

Xiaomi launched its flagship phone Mi 6 in April at an event in China. It has been made available in China, Russia and few other regions. With its global release the phone, with top of the end internal hardware and attractive design, will be made available for purchase in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other profitable markets where the company has good presence.

Xiaomi Mi 6 comes in two editions – Glass and Ceramic. The Mi6 Glass edition comes in two storage variants with 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. The color options for Mi 6 Glass variant are Black, Blue and White.

On the other hand, the Mi6 Ceramic is available in only one variant with 6GB RAM intact and 128GB in-built storage with mirror-finish back and four-sided curved ceramic design. Another added feature which enhances the look of Ceramic Mi 6 is the 18-karat gold rims around the dual rear cameras which has been built with 8 Mohs of hardness which makes it water and tear resistant enhancing its durability. The only color option for Mi 6 Ceramic is Black.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is equipped with 5.15 inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz with Adreno 540 GPU. The fingerprint scanner in the front is placed under the glass.

The phone flaunts dual rear cameras of 12MP+12MP resolution. One camera is a wide-angle lens that features 4-axis optical image stabilization while the other camera is a telephoto lens that provides 2X loss-less zoom. In the front the flagship phone houses an 8MP selfie snapper. The Mi 6 was released with Android 7.1.1 Nougat MIUI 8 custom skin underneath.
