Xiaomi’s recently launched Mi 5X will most likely land in India in next month. We say this as Manu Kumar Jain, Vice-President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India recently shared on Twitter that the company will be launching a dual camera smartphone in India next month.
Although he didn’t explicitly mention the smartphone’s name in his tweet, it’s more likely for the Mi 5X to hit the Indian shores since it’s the only device that has been recently launched and sports a dual camera setup on the back.
And in case you are wondering, nope, the Xiaomi Mi 6 won’t be making it to the Indian soil.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X features an all metal unibody design, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The imaging department is taken care of by two 12MP cameras — the same sensors as the Xiaomi Mi 6.
On the software side of things, the Xiaomi Mi 5X boots Android 7.1.2 Nougat-based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box and is backed by a 3080mAh battery.
It was launched with a price tag of CNY 1499 in China (approximately INR 15,000).
