As expected, Xiaomi has officially introduced the Mi 5X which is a mid-range offering from the Chinese manufacturer. Xiaomi is known for churning out great devices at affordable prices and the same applies to the Mi 5X.
Carrying decent internal hardware and the latest MIUI 9, the Xiaomi Mi 5X is priced at RMB 1499 which translates roughly to $220. At this price range, it stands in direct competition to Huawei Honor 6X, another creditable Chinese brand known for developing great user friendly devices.
However, the main highlight of Xiaomi Mi 5X is its camera. With dual rear sensor, Xiaomi aims to woo photography enthusiasts and gives a tough competition to two other Chinese brands, Oppo and Vivo, who cater more towards the camera-centric smartphone segment.
Coming to the specifications, Xiaomi Mi 5X sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The phone boasts of a full metal unibody design with rounded edges. Under the hood, it packs in quad-core Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The phone rocks 12MP+12MP telephoto dual cam which comes with optical zoom and runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat based MIUI 9. A 3080mAh battery keeps the lights on.
