Last month, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 5X at an event in Beijing, China. Looks like the device is about to land on Indian soil.

According to the Mi website, Xiaomi is holding a product launch event on September 5 in New Delhi, India. While Xiaomi has not revealed the exact device, they are touting the upcoming phone as “Flagship Dual Camera smartphone”. Our best guess is with Xiaomi Mi 5X but since they have not specifically mentioned Mi 5X, take the news with a pinch of salt.

Calling it a historic event, the event is open to Indian Mi Fans only. Indian users need to register for the event before August 31st. In case, the fans outside India want to watch the launch event, they can watch it live via Mi’s YouTube channel.
