Objective 1: Talk to Roya Girl
Make your way to the Fangspire Chasm's western-most point to find Roya Girl thinking about the Petroglyph near the stone wall.
She explains about the inscriptions on the stone wall as a "treasure" from the Royan lineage.
Objective 2: Go to the location of the First Petroglyph
After talking to the Royan Girl, make your way to the location of the first Petroglyph.
It is located in the Etching Plains of Roya Frostlands near the Giant's Gaze Resonance Beacon.
Objective 3: Try lighting the Petroglyph
Here, you need to defeat the Zip Zaps who are stealing the energy from the power supply and restore the connection.
As soon as you defeat the Zip Zaps, the Petroglyph is lit up, but there is still some portion that is not. Inspect the area.
Upon reaching the northern side of the power cables, you see an orangish cable. Use your Zip Zap projector and investigate.
In case you do not have a Zip Zap, farm them from nearby the cables. Defeat at least 5 to register them as your Echo.
With the help of Zip Zap, the complete Petroglyph lights up.
Objective 4: Go to the location of the Second Petroglyph
The second Petroglyph is located in the southern-most part of the Giant Gaze area in Roya FrostLands.
Nearest Resonance Beacon - Orbit Valley Pass.
Objective 5: Try lighting the Petroglyph
Start by fixing the cables of the Petroglyph power supply. To fix the breakage, use the Zip Zap projector.
This will light up half of the Petroglyph. Investigate the issue on the other side.
On the other side, you will find the Timid Outcasts herd. Defeat them all. Here you will get

With the help of Zip Zap projector, fix the cables here.

Objective 6: Go to the location of the Third Petroglyph
The third Petroglyph is located in Mawburrow Desert's western area near the Jetrified Ridge.
Upon reaching here, you will see that the flying fish are interfering with the Petroglyph's power supply.
Objective 7: Light up the third Petroglyph
So to rule that out, complete the Lost Melody side quest in which you find 3 lost melodies of Matthew for the Soliskin.
As soon as you complete riding the fish objective in the Lost Melody, the Petroglyph lights up.
