Walkthrough
Follow these steps to complete The Widower's Concern quest:
Step 1
Reach the quest area, find the scholar and start a conversation.
Step 2
Change the in-game time to Zi hour.
Step 3
Approach the bell and initiate a conversation with the man trapped inside. He will ask you to save him.
Step 4
Visit the embroidery ladies by following the quest marker.
Step 5
Once you reach the place, talk with the little girl.
Step 6
Collect dyes for the tailor; collect the red and blue dyes from the courtyard nearby.
Step 7
And lastly, collect the black dye from the charcoal basin.
Step 8
Return to the little girl and give her the dyes; wait for a day till she finishes the garment. Turn the in-game time to Chou hour.
Step 9
Take the Celestial Silk Garment and take it back to the scholar; reach the location and eavesdrop on the conversation of the scholar and a woman.

Go near the bell and check on the scholar's condition. You will find that he has died.
