New pictures of the Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-J730x) surfaced today that provided us with good proof that the smartphone may not use dual lenses after all. But the rumors that the upcoming J7 is slated to get dual shooter haven’t stopped at all, which leads us to believe that Samsung may include them with the next generation of the Galaxy J7 Prime.
Samsung has always been popular for packing in excellent camera in their high-end lineup. The J series devices technically serve as mid range performers. If the rumors of the dual camera making it to the 2017 J7 Prime 2 are to be believed, then dual camera may not have to be a premium feature anymore (though, other OEMs offer affordable devices with the same).
Here’s what we know about the Galaxy J7 2017 so far. The specs listed tell us that the device will be powered by the Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB storage, along with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The J7 2017 could feature a 12MP rear shooter and a 12MP selfie camera. Overall these are pretty moderate specs but on that other hand, the Galaxy J7 2017 rocks Nougat (Android 7.0) out of the box.

Based on this we could make an educated guess that the upcoming J7 Prime 2 2017 (rocking dual shooters?) would feature even better specsheet.
Samsung has only just stepped into the dual camera territory which is currently dominated by LG, Apple and many other Chinese OEMs. Of late, the rumors of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 featuring dual camera have received a green light after the prototype was leaked. So we can at least confirm that Samsung has joined the dual camera game.
