The preload was made available days earlier to let you play instantly at launch. Tier XI tanks—A new top tier arrives

Update 2.0 introduces 16 all-new Tier XI tanks—first-of-their-kind in World of Tanks. These top-tier behemoths come with unique mechanics and a new progression system replacing the old Field Mods for higher-tier gameplay.

Revamped core systems

  • Vehicle rebalancing: Over 350 vehicles received balance updates to streamline progression and improve fairness.
  • Matchmaker overhaul: Added role balancing, new limits on vehicle types per team, and improved queue handling. Tier XI tanks now battle with Tier IX–X.
  • Interface redesign: The hangar is now a dynamic tank factory. Navigation is improved with vertical menus, armor viewer, and smoother layout.
  • Sound enhancements: Real tank engine recordings, distinct tread and collision sounds, better audio mix, richer UI audio, and ambient soundscapes in the garage.
  • Random map events: Dynamic battlefield changes—like zeppelin crashes or train crossings—present new tactical opportunities.

You can also now jump into a narrative PvE mode, Operation Boiling Point, set on the newly added Scandinavian map “Nordskar.” This lets you test drive Tier XI tanks within a structured storyline.

    • Weekly: Reachable between Monday–Wednesday & Wednesday–Friday after 180 min of watch time.
    • Weekend: Follow Friday–Monday format same duration
