When you first launch the game, you’ll sign in using your Embark ID — this is the key that links your progress, items, and unlocks across devices. As long as you use the same account, your character level and in-game achievements will stay consistent wherever you play.
However, owning the game on one platform doesn’t automatically grant access on another. If you want to switch from PC to console, you’ll need to purchase the game again on that system. Once done, your progress will sync when you log in with your Embark ID.
Cross-play in ARC Raiders is fully open, meaning console and PC players share the same matchmaking pools. If you disable cross-play, you’ll only match with players on your own platform, which may lengthen queue times. There’s currently no way to enable “console-only” matchmaking.
The cross-progression system is smooth and reliable. Switching between platforms is as simple as signing in — no manual data transfer or setup required. Early playtest data won’t carry over to launch versions, but all post-release progress will stay linked across every platform tied to your account.
For the best experience, make sure cross-play is enabled in the settings and confirm that you’re logged into the same Embark ID across platforms.
