In Ghost of Yotei, the Wild Clearing Hot Spring is one of the first and most accessible hot springs. Here’s how to track it down and make the most of your bath in these soothing waters.
Region details for Wild Clearing Hot Spring
The spring is situated in the Yotei Grasslands, northeast of Yotei’s Shadow Inn, near the Maw of the Serpent.

Often found by ascending a rocky cliff—look for sections that you can grab and climb. The hot spring is marked with a wooden hot tub icon on the game map.

How to reach the Wild Clearing hot spring
Step 1
Travel to Yotei’s Shadow Inn in the Grasslands region as your nearest landmark.
Step 2
Head northeast, watching for the Maw of the Serpent—a distinctive rocky formation close to your goal.
Step 3
Look for a climbable cliff face behind groves of trees or fields of red flowers. Climb this cliff face and reach the top.

Step 4
The wooden hot tub icon will be in front of you.

Step 5
Once at the spring, interact at the bucket next to the water. Atsu will enter the spring, triggering a brief reflective sequence, and your maximum health increases permanently.

Hot springs in Ghost of Yotei let Atsu rest and reflect, and doing so rewards her with a permanent increase to maximum health. Finding all 16 hot springs is also tied to the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.
