Not a day goes by without seeing a Samsung Galaxy S8 leak these days. And today seems to be no exception. A couple of Galaxy S8 hands-on images have surfaced on the internet today revealing the smartphone’s gorgeous edge-to-edge display.
What’s interesting, though is the fact that the hands-on image discloses a Galaxy S8 with a white body, narrow bezels, and neatly rounded corners. In line with earlier rumors, there’s no home button at the front. Instead, you get on-screen buttons to navigate around the OS. Also, apart from the usual front-facing camera, there are a bunch of other sensors at the top of the display. Perhaps, we may see an iris scanner like the one seen on the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7.

On the specification front, the Galaxy S8 may feature a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC teamed with 4GB of RAM. The standard Galaxy S8 variant is expected to boast a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with the Plus variant cranking the size up to 6.2-inches (diagonally). Also, Samsung could shift to the standard RGB layout from its Diamond PenTile layout this year for a better VR experience. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on March 29 at an Unpacked event in New York.
As is the case with most of the leaks, the above information is not official, so all of it has to be taken with the proverbial pinch of salt.
