The Yin Yang puzzle in Where Winds Meet, found in the “Cries in the Distance” quest, tasks players with balancing opposing forces to open a hidden passage. You must rotate a central Tai Chi dial and four dragon-head statues—two facing each other and two facing outward—to create the correct harmony beneath the dial. Solving it unlocks a secret area essential for progressing through the quest.

Step 1

Rotate the dial clockwise once—this is the dial located in front of the entrance where you previously used your fire arrows.

Step 2

Rotate the dial clockwise twice—this is the one located opposite the first dial.

Step 3

Now rotate the middle Yin–Yang dial clockwise once.

Step 4

Finally, all the dials will be aligned except one. Go to the remaining misaligned dial and rotate it clockwise once to complete the puzzle.
