Walkthrough
Follow the steps below to complete the Blind to the World quest:
Step 1
Travel to Moonveil Mountain in Qinghe, near the lake at Crimson Cliff and speak with Unfated Tian, who explains the shrine hidden under the lake.

Step 2
Dive into the lake. At the bottom, there’s a large stone slab and three chains leading away from it.

Step 3
Follow each chain to a mechanism with a lever.

Step 4
Interact with all three to drain the lake.

Step 5
Remember to surface between interactions if you need air.

Step 6
After all three are activated, the water recedes, revealing the lake’s muddy base. Follow Tian to the bottom of the lake.

Step 7
Step on the central slab to trigger the puzzle — four smaller plates will appear.

Step 8
Step on the smaller plates in the order: North → East → South → West. Use your map or compass to orient correctly.

Step 9
Enter the newly revealed path. It’s a corridor with cloth strips that trigger arrows. Use Fire Arrows to burn the ribbons and disable traps.

Step 10
Continue into a cavern where there’s a collapsed bridge.

Step 11
Instead of jumping the bridge, look for a side tunnel along the wall that leads underwater.

Step 12
Dive in and swim through the waterway. Look for beams of light from above (they indicate spots to surface for air).

Step 13
Follow the tunnel until you reach dry land again, where Uncle Tian will be waiting in front of a gate.

Step 13
From the gate, go up the stairs behind it to a platform with a contraption.

Step 14
Interact with the pedestal to ring the bells. You’ll hear a melody and see symbols appear above each bell. Touch a Moonlit Flower nearby to darken your screen. This heightens your hearing.

Step 15
Once you’re blind, activate the bell contraption again and listen to the ring order.

Step 16
Then use your bow to shoot the slabs above the bells in that same order. According to guides, the fixed solution is: 3 → 4 → 1 → 2 (numbering bells left to right).

Step 17
Go through the open gate into a cavern with a raised altar and a still underground lake.

Step 18
Pick up the Frost-Laced Box from a nearby table, go near the altar of Li Zhenzhen, the Lunar Goddess and hand it over to Uncle Tian.

Step 19
Fulfil an old wish of the Goddess.

Step 20
Go down via the stairs behind her altar into her old dwelling. In her living quarters, collect two optional items:
- Small Blade (on a table)
- Moonlit Flower (a glowing blue flower nearby)

Step 21
Return to the Lunar Goddess and offer either the Moonlit Flower or the Small Blade.

Step 22
After the cutscene, look for a narrow crevice in the wall, squeeze through it to reach a small underground dock with a raft.

Step 23
Use the raft to ride out and return to the surface. This finishes the quest.

Completing Blind to the World brings your journey full circle, ending with a quiet encounter with the Lunar Goddess and a choice between offering a Moonlit Flower or a Small Blade. Whether you rely on sight or let the world guide you through sound, the quest reinforces its central theme: clarity comes from perception, not vision.
