Step #1

Head to the Scene of the Soulmate encounter marker on the map and talk to Grannie Shi to trigger an encounter.

Step #2

Grannie Shi will ask you to gather a few supplies for her. Head over to Yao Yaoyao and speak with her to obtain some Chuanxiong. Once you have it, return to Grannie Shi and hand it over to proceed.

Grannie Shi will then request 3 Buggleweeds. You can find them growing just behind her house. Gather all three, return to Grannie Shi, and hand them over to continue the quest.
