Step 1

Head to the marked location above and talk to Zhang Yihao to start the encounter quest.

Step 2

Follow the waypoint and locate Chengshi sitting beneath the large tree and interact with him.

Step 3

Make your way to Finesteed Hamlet and talk to the first victim, Mei Chuanyi, who is perched in a thick tree just outside the small town.

Step 4

After speaking with Mei Chuanyi, you’ll be swarmed by Giant Geese. Defeat them all, then lend 1,000 coins to Mei to continue.

Step 5

Locate the next victim, Chi Bula, lying on the ground along the shoreline near Harvestfall Village.

Step 6

Cook a serving of Steaming Hot Noodles for Chi Bula by using the hearth right next to him and give it to him. After that, he’ll also ask to borrow 1,000 coins.

Step 7

Head to the next quest area near Porcelain Kiln and find the next victim trapped behind a cluster of large boulders.

Step 8

Grab one of the fire barrels located to the right of the boulders, place it in front of the rocks, then shoot it with an arrow to detonate it and clear the blockage.

Step 9

Speak with Long Zai and lend him 1,000 coins as well.

Step 10

Return to the quest area and locate Chengshi with a group of people hiding behind the bushes. Move up behind the bush to eavesdrop and trigger a cutscene.
