In Where Winds Meet, the "New Arrival in Kaifeng" quest marks a significant step into the Kaifeng region. This quest unfolds over several sub-quests that involve exploring key locations, handling disputes, and advancing the story through interactions with important characters. Requirements

To start the quest, players must meet a level requirement (level 32) and complete the Chapter One main story quest "For Whom Does He Return." After defeating the boss Qianye, players can talk to the dockmaster near Harvestfall to travel to Kaifeng.

Walkthrough

Step 1

Head to the Docks and talk to the Boatman.

Step 2

When asked about leaving for Kaifeng, select Yes, please. Thank You.

Step 3

Once you're at the Harborlink Crossing, visit the Wheatwind Bazaar.

Step 4

Find the Hulking Man in the bazaar.

Step 5

Defeat the Hulking Man and his companions.

Step 6

Follow Yingying to the inn.

Step 7

Once she leaves, get up and go outside the inn. On your way out, you'll have to the option to Go find the waiter at the backyard. Select it.

Alternatively, if you sit at your table, select Wait no more.

Step 8

Talk to the waiter, win the argument, and Pawn Parting Tears.

Step 9

Outside the Wheatwind Grain Store, find the travelling merchant.

Step 10

By 20 bags of grain. You will need 10,000 coins.

Step 11

Follow Old Jin and visit Shopkeeper Fu.

There you will meet a little girl who will try to swindle you.

Step 12

Once the little girl's swindle is discovered, follow Old Jin and sell the grain to a vendor.

Step 13

Return to the waiter to get back your Parting Tears. Unfortunately, the waiter would've already sold it to someone from Revelry Hall. So that's where you will head next.
