Feasts before the Beasts quests in Where Winds Meet is an exploration type side tale. However, the quest recommends a player level 50 to defeat and complete the Wolf Maiden boss.

Location

The Feast before the Beast quest is located near the Still Shore in Qinghe, where we need to find the Twin Brothers as primary objective. This quest becomes available after completing the Still Shore quest.

Walkthrough

Here is a step-by-step walkthrough to complete the Feast Before the Beast quest in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1: Find the Twin Brothers

Start from the Still Shore and make your way to the shore side area to find twin brothers Yang Dian and Yang Xin.

Step 2: Receive the letter about the Desperation Ridge

On meeting with the Twin Brothers, you will acquire intel on the Desperation Ridge. A note titled "Desperation Ridge Call to Arms" reveal a message about the wolfs and rewards from the Unbound Cavern.

Step 3: Ask for the way to Desperation Ridge

Ask the brothers about the Desperation Ridge and how to get there. They will reveal you can go there if you drink up wine with them.

Step 4: Drink up with the brothers

You are required to gulp down 3 drinks in shot with the twin brothers in order to get teleported to the Desperation Ridge. Drink them up one by one, as prompted on screen by pressing F.

Step 5: Teleporting to Desperation Ridge

Once you finish the three drinks, overhearing the conversation, you will realize you are the first one to get there and you need to be a "true hero" to survive the Desperation Ridge.

Step 6: Desperation Ridge first look

In Where Winds Meet, the teleportation locations are boss arenas, and the Desperation Ridge is where we find the Wolf Maiden boss. Upon waking up at the ridge, find the Hero's Tomb, where you can replenish health.

Step 7: Fight with the Wolf Maiden and complete the quest

After a cutscene you are required to fight with the Wolf Maiden and complete the Feast with the Beasts quest.

Tips

• Maintain mid-range distance to safely react to her attacks.
• Watch for her lunge + slash combo, her fastest and most damaging opener.
• Use counter/deflect rather than blocking to break her flow and create openings.
• Recommended Level 50 for a smooth solo clear.
• You can fight her with up to 5 teammates for an easier encounter.
• She appears only at night, so approach the ritual grounds around the sunset.
