Joint Parade is a new feature in Where Winds Meet, part of the massive 1.2 update. It's meant to reduce time spent in prison if put behind bars as per Joint Punishment - another new jail feature in the game. Here's what we know about it so far:

What is Joint Parade

Joint Parade builds on Pardon Parades, which is one way to reduce jail time in the game.

Steam

As per the version 1.2 update overview, "After being jailed together, both primary and implicated players can activate a Joint Parade—facing public admonishment together."

How to activate Joint Parade

In Version 1.2, jailed players including accomplices can now activate Joint Parades together for shared public admonishment. More participants amplify the event's spectacle and potential reductions, as mentioned in the update - "The more participants, the greater the sentence reduction!"

Activating Joint Parade should ideally work the same way as activating Pardon Parade. Here's how:

Step 1: Access prison interface

From your cell screen, select Pardon Parade or Joint Parade in the upper-right corner.

Step 2: Confirm participation

Choose Go to Parade; your character loads into the cart automatically.

Step 3: Endure the route

The game scripts the procession through town; complete it to deduct 60 minutes from detention—no actions needed from you. Repeat if time remains.

Joint Parades ensure that once you're jointly punished with a friend, you can take measures together to get out quickly too.
