Preparation Phase timeline and purpose

January 9 – January 16, 2026

This phase is entirely about setup. No competitive matchmaking takes place yet, but your actions here directly affect how well your guild performs later.

  • Guild members unlock Guild Battle–exclusive skills through Technique Development
  • Leaders and deputies recruit and organize members
  • Strategies are planned around battleground choice and skill synergy
  • One battleground is selected for the entire season

Once a battleground is chosen, it cannot be changed until the preseason ends.

Battleground regions explained

Each guild must select a battleground aligned with its region. Choosing the correct region helps reduce latency and ensures smoother battles.

How the Guild Battles Competition Phase works

January 17 – February 6, 2026

This phase introduces live PvP battles and rankings. Matchmaking only occurs during these windows and only within the same battleground group. Once battles begin, cross-region matchmaking is not possible.

How rankings are determined

  • Guilds are matched against others in the same battleground
  • Match scores determine rankings within each group
  • Final rankings are calculated after the Competition Phase ends

Performance across multiple weekends matters more than a single win.

How to prepare for Guild Battles

#1 Unlock Guild Battle skills early

Focus on Technique Development during the Preparation Phase. These skills are exclusive to guild battles and provide significant advantages once matches begin.

#2 Finalize your battleground choice

Coordinate with leadership before locking in a battleground. Selecting the wrong region can result in higher latency and weaker performance.

#3 Organize roles and strategies

Assign roles based on player strengths, skill builds, and availability during weekend match times.

#4 Ensure consistent participation

Since matchmaking occurs only on weekends, having enough active members during those windows is critical.

#5 Track performance across weekends

Rankings are cumulative. Consistency across multiple battles will outweigh isolated victories.

Guild Battle Pre-Season rewards

While this is a preseason, rewards are still meaningful and tied to participation and performance.

Reward typeHow it’s earned
Guild ReputationEarned per battle participation
Wonder JadeEarned from preseason battles
Treasure TokenEarned from matches and rankings
Ranking rewardsDistributed after preseason ends

What this preseason means for the future of guild PvP

The Guild Battle Pre-Season is intentionally framed as a testing period. Mechanics, balance, matchmaking rules, and rewards are expected to evolve based on player data and feedback gathered during this window.

For guilds, this is an opportunity to:

  • Learn the system before full competitive seasons launch
  • Establish early dominance and recognition
  • Influence future balance through participation and feedback
