It has been several weeks since Android Oreo started hitting the Nokia 3, but those using the phone on Australia’s Vodafone are yet to get a taste of the new dessert on their handsets. Even more frustrating is that the wait seems to have gotten longer than expected as the carrier has just updated its official software page with some bad news.
Apparently, Android Oreo testing for the Nokia 3 has been put on hold. The carrier hasn’t specified the reasons for halting the testing process, but we suspect a bug might be the cause. Furthermore, Vodafone Australia hasn’t mentioned a thing with regards to when the testing process will resume, however, we don’t expect it to take ages.

HMD Global started testing Android Oreo for the Nokia 3 towards the end of February and the stable version of the OS was ready for download towards mid-April 2018. If anything, Vodafone is significantly late with the Oreo update and as such, it shouldn’t be long before the test resumes ahead of the official rollout, probably before the end of May 2018.
