Vivo X9s and X9s Plus have been under the rumor radar for quite some time. And finally, both the phones have now been officially announced. While the Vivo X9s is priced at  CNY 2698 (approximately $400), the Plus variant all set you back by CNY 2,998 (approximately $440).

The USP of the X9s and X9s Plus is the front facing dual camera (20MP + 5MP) setup similar to the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus. At the back is a 16MP f/2.0 PDAF camera on the both the phones.

Vivo X9s and X9s Plus

Measuring 155.3g in weight and 6.9mm in thickness, the Vivo X9s is a fairly lightweight smartphone. On the other hand, the Vivo X9s Plus comes with a thickness of 7.25mm and is slightly on the heavier side of the spectrum at 183.2g.

This is probably due to the huge 4,015mAh battery on the Plus variant as opposed to the 3,320mAh one on the standard X9s.

Vivo X9s and X9s Plus

While the Vivo X9s houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC (as rumored), the X9s Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 653 chipset. They also differ in terms of display sizes. The standard variant’s display measures 5.5-inches while the Plus variant features a 5.85-inch display. Both come with Full HD resolution.

In terms of memory, the Vivo X9s and the X9s Plus pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Both of them have a fingerprint scanner at the front just below the display and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Also, both the X9s and the X9s Plus come in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black color variants.
