Chinese OEM Vivo is gearing up to launch the V5 Plus soon. The smartphone first turned up in leaks back in November and is now nearing an official launch.
The Vivo V5 Plus is believed to have a dual camera setup featuring 20MP and 8MP clearer lenses which is expected to work alongside Vivo’s moonlight flash. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on a pretty powerful Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset clocked in at 1.8GHz.
The device is also expected to feature 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 3300mAh battery on board which would be facilitated by Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. Vivo’s latest release of Funtouch OS version 3.0 is expected to run on top of Android for the upcoming V5 Plus. Whether the V5 Plus ships with Marshmallow or Nougat is unclear at the moment but we should know more by January 23 when the device is expected to be released.
