The Vivo 67A has made up an appearance at a TENAA listing hinting at the possibility of releasing soon. Based on the leak, we can see that the device sports a 5.5-inch 720p display and sports 2930mAh battery.
More Vivo 67A specs are available, which indicate that an 1.5GHz octa-core processor would power the device, which would have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (upto 128GB microSD cards accepted). Further, there looks to be 13MP sensor at the back for taking snaps, while a 16MP camera as selfie shooter at front — emphasizing Vivo’s love for front cams.
The Vivo A67A may launch with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, and it would be pretty slim at 7.55mm of thickness (l x b goes 153.8 x 75.5mm). The device is expected to feature gravity sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor, and may come in Gold color only.
Further information on the smartphone isn’t available on the listing. From the images provided, the smartphone features a design that’s pretty common lately. From the rear of the device, the camera seems to be placed on the top left corner and it protrudes a bit too. Overall, the Vivo 67A sports a slim aesthetic look and feel.
The Chinese OEM Vivo has still many ways to go before it catches up to the competition. With their USP being an affordable price range and good looking smartphones, Vivo probably aims to gain more attention and sell more devices. Vivo also has stakes in the high end department with their flagship Xplay devices coming in on heavy duty specs.
The Vivo 67A can be expected to release in the coming few months with a more optimistic date around Mobile World Congress on February 26. The device may come with Nougat based Funtouch OS 3.0 out of the box but that remains to be confirmed as of yet. On the contrary the update to Nougat remains highly skeptical thanks to Vivo’s terrible support.
