Most of the tight-budgeted ones may not have heard about Vertu, or should we say pretend not to. After all Vertu, the British smartphone manufacturer and retailer, has only the best and costliest handsets lined up. A new one must be on the anvil as it has been spotted on WiFi Alliance.
Successor to previous Vertu phones, the Vertu Constellation X, has been listed on WiFi Alliance as product number VM-08. The only spec available from the listing is its OS which is, sadly not Nougat but Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow. That’s all that we can take from the certificate.
The device was officially announced the day before yesterday. Its specs include a 5.5-inch display, 128GB of expandable storage, 12-megapixel rear camera, 3,220mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and of course the Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
The device will go in sale on February 10th. There’s no hint on the pricing as of yet, but you can be assured it won’t come cheap. Expect it to cost more than $8,000 in the US.
