Verizon is rolling out a new software update to the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 which installs the Google’s security patch on the handset.
Arriving with the software version J320VVRS2AQF1, the update brings with it the June security patch which gets rid of the security vulnerabilities, if any and adds an additional layer of security on the smartphone.
In addition, the update should also fix a few bugs existing in the previous build while improving the overall performance of the handset.

Taking into account the fact that it’s just a regular security patch, you should be able to download it over cellular data without any issues. Just make sure you are receiving strong network signals.
Alternatively, switch to a stable Wi-Fi network and hit the download button, which is btw, always recommended.
Other points to keep in mind before installing the update is to keep a back up handy (always) and charge you smartphone; maintain at least 50% charge.
