Over the recent past, T-Mobile has gotten fond of rolling out premature software updates to Samsung phones, something that has even been documented by Android Police. But it seems the Magenta carrier isn’t alone on this.
Not so long ago, Verizon Wireless users on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ started receiving the July 2018 security update. But according to Droid Life, this update has now been rolled back because users are reportedly experiencing Wi-Fi Calling issues.

The June 2018 Galaxy S8 and S8+ update also came with the Wi-Fi Calling Auto-On feature, but this is not to say its the source of the problem. After all, this has only been reported after the July security patches. For those who had already downloaded the update, you may have to live without Wi-Fi Calling until the carrier rolls out a fix in the next update.
When this update will be rolled out (resumed) is unknown to us, but we hope it won’t be long.
