The carrier looks to change its prepaid perception and reputation with the introduction of three new prepaid plans for prepaid customers.
The new plans include unlimited calls and texts in the US, unlimited international texts, and unlimited calls to Mexico and Canada, with three data tiers: 3GB for $40, 7GB for $50, or 10GB for $60. Carryover Data, Mobile Hotspot, and Always On Data (2G data speeds after high-speed tier is reached) make their return with these plans as well.
Customers who transfer their number and bring their Verizon-compatible phone over to Big Red when signing up for one of these new prepaid plans will receive a $100 credit (made available after two billing cycles).
