Last month, Asus launched the Zenfone V as a Verizon only exclusive in the US. At the time, the phone was priced at $240 with a contract. But now, you can practically buy one for free from Verizon.
As part of Black Friday offers, the Asus Zenfone V is being sold by Verizon for $0. Here’s how the deal works. First, you will need to shell out the $240 and purchase the phone with a 2 year contract and a new line. Then, Verizon will pay you $10 as promo credit distributed over a period of 24 months.
There are some other fees you will have to pay though. You will have to pay a one-time activation fee of $30 when you purchase the device with the contract. So, you will only get your $240 back after two years. Still, a pretty nice deal.
The Asus Zenfone V sports a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 23MP rear camera, an 8MP front facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery. The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat installed, with ASUS ZenUI 3.0.
The offer is only valid for today, so make sure you get it while you can. This is a pretty decent phone for the price.
