Walkthrough

Follow the steps below to complete this Encounter in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1

After reaching the marked location, interact with Pip Rat lying on the ground to trigger the encounter.

Step 2

After triggering the encounter, poke Pip Rat again and then speak with him.

Step 3

Climb onto the nearby roof, stand on the large red mushrooms, and jump high to catch the bugs hovering above.

Step 4

After giving Pip Rat the insect, follow him into the Rat Den and speak with him by the furnace.

Step 5

Interact with the Old Alchemy Furnace and craft the Strange Decoction I.

Step 6

Submit the Strange Decoction I to Pip Rat.

Step 7

Head to the next marked location to gather the Enchanting Lotus

Step 8

Shoot the three swarms of purple birds with your bow to clear them out, then pick up the Enchanting Lotus.

Step 9

Head back to the Rat Den and use the Old Alchemy Furnace to craft the Strange Decoction II and submit it to Pip Rat.

Step 10

Head to the next marked location near the shore to gather the Dagger General insect.

Step 11

After reaching the marked spot near the shore, use Mighty Drop on the rock pile to clear it and pick up the Dagger General.

Step 12

Head back to the Rat Den and craft the Strange Decoction III and submit it to Pip Rat.

Step 13

Clean up the Old Alchemy Furnace, then speak with Embroidered Rat inside the Rat Den to complete the encounter and claim your rewards.
