In the city of Kaifeng, within Where Winds Meet, the Jianghu Legacy quest “Under Another’s Roof” tasks you with aiding the artisan Li Shun and mastering his timberwork legacy. You’ll build a house, discover betrayal, recover stolen materials and after waiting a day, dig up hidden wine. It’s a nice side‐story that combines Build mode with exploration and NPC interaction.

Reach the Imperial Artisan Court in Kaifeng.

Go to the wonton stall and set time to Chen hour if needed, then talk to Shi Jihuai.

Then walk to Li Shun at the construction site.

After Li Shun gives you the “Diagrams of Four-Rafter Structure”, enter Build mode.

Dismantle incorrect pillars.
Place new ones at the base (the correct placement shows a blue highlight).
After the construction ends, a thief steals Li Shun’s Timberwork Manual.

Investigate the tree with white flowers ahead to catch the suspicious figure which turns out to be Shi Jihuai.

Eavesdrop on three groups of artisans: (a) those constructing buildings.

(b) On the roof.

(c) On the scaffolding.

Return to Li Shun and talk to him.

Retrieve the Timberwork Manual: go behind the building past the white-flower tree, and grab the manuscript from the shelf.

Bring the manuscript back to Li Shun.

Enter Build mode again: place the white walls, windows and lattice door to complete the “Four-Rafter House”.
Find Shi Jihuai in a courtyard and talk to him; he will give you Ding Mu’er’s dagger. Then you will have to wait until the next real day (real-time wait).

On the next day, find Ding Mu’er under the tree with white leaves at the construction site where the house was built.

Unearth the wine hidden under the tree behind Ding Mu’er’s house.

After the cut-scene, the quest is marked complete.
