Uber Rewards program has gone live in 9 U.S. cities namely New York, New Jersey, Tampa, Denver, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Diego, and Washington, DC. It is free to join and Uber has also promised to work on the feedback it will receive for the time being before the nationwide launch in the next few months.

According to Uber, if you don’t live in one of the nine cities mentioned above, you can join the waitlist which allows you to earn points on every transaction you do on Uber or Uber Eats for up to six months till the program goes live in your area. These points will automatically contribute to your membership level.

There are four membership levels which you can unlock, and the higher you reach, the better the rewards. The levels are Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. You get a point for every eligible dollar you spend on Uber Pool and Uber Eats, two points for an Uber X, Uber XL, Select, and WAV, and three points for Black and Black SUV rides.
