Toshiba, the not so popular Android tablet manufacturer, is working on a new tablet with model number AT10LE-A, said to be powered by NVIDIA’s powerful upcoming Tegra 4 chipset, and a few images of the device have leaked via Techblog.br.

Expected to sport a 10.1-inch display, the AT10LE-A’s Tegra 4 processor’s four Cortex-A15 cores are said to be clocked at 1.8GHz (along with a power-saving fifth core), which should provide some mind-blowing performance, especially in the gaming department. Since the chipset is such a powerhouse, we can tick off 2GB of RAM on the spec sheet as well, though nothing is confirmed on that regard.

The tablet can be seen running on Android 4.2.1 in the pictures, while there is a microSD card slot, microHDMI, and a microUSB port on the side of the device. The AT10LE-A also comes with a keyboard dock, which means it will give a few more options to users looking for an Android tablet with a keyboard, options which aren’t really plentiful right now outside of ASUS’ Transformer series.

There’s no word on when this Tegra 4 Toshiba tablet will be announced or released, though we can expect a launch after Q3 once NVIDIA starts mass producing Tegra 4 chipsets. Considering the price is right, it should be a pretty good deal especially when you consider the keyboard, so we’ll surely be keeping an eye out for more details on this baby.
