Tiger Fort Outpost Walkthrough - Where Winds Meet

Outposts are fortified locations marked with a red fortress icon. Clearing them grants valuable one-time rewards and unlocks the option to challenge them again using Energy.
Tiger Fort Outpost is home to a group of troublemakers led by Zhang Hu. Whether you choose to outsmart them in a chess game or confront them head-on, the outpost ultimately culminates in a decisive battle against Zhang Hu inside an abandoned house.

Tiger Fort Outpost is located in Moonveil Mountain within Qinghe. 

Walkthrough

Step 1

Teleport to the nearest discovered waypoint and make your way to Tiger Fort Outpost.

Step 2

Approach the outpost and investigate.

Step 3

You can play chess and beat Zhang Long in chess. This is optional.

Step 4

If you don't want to play chess, you can go back and restart.

Step 5

Once you reach the outpost again, select the "Mind your own business" option to initiate the fight.

Step 6

Once you select the option, the name of the enemies turns red, and you can start fighting.

Step 7

You will have to eliminate 12 enemies before reaching the boss fight.

Step 8

Inside an abandoned house, you will find the boss Zhang Hu.

Step 9

When he rushes forward with his shield, sidestep at the final moment to safely avoid the heavy hit.

Step 10

He also performs wide slashing strikes. Watch his wind-up animation and dodge just before the swing for safe openings. After defeating Zhang Hu, secure the outpost.

Clearing Tiger Fort Outpost rewards you with a generous mix of materials, cosmetics, and exploration progress.
