A couple of weeks ago, we told you that Xiaomi is working on a new phone possibly for a new series. Well, we now have more information regarding the device.
The smartphone in question is currently codenamed as Xiaomi X1 and is believed to be launched sometime in this month. The leaker has also posted the image of the smartphone on Twitter.
As you see from the above image, the device seems to have a soft matte finish with antenna bands running over the top edge. What’s more important, though, is the dual camera setup placed towards the top left corner of the rear adjacent to the dual-tone LED flash.
Xiaomi X1, will apparently feature Sony IMX362 and IMX386 sensors at the back and the front too, will have a dual camera setup for better imaging.
As for the specs, the Xiaomi X1 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC hooked to 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.
It will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and will reportedly come in two variants: one with the standard display with huge bezels at the top and bottom while the other is said to feature a near bezel-less display.

Prices for the handset have also been leaked. The 64GB RAM is expected to be priced somewhere between CNY 1,999 ($294) and CNY 2,299 ($339), while the 128GB variant will be priced between CNY 2,499 ($368) and CNY 2,799 ($412).
The high-end variant with near bezel-less display will apparently come with 6GB of RAM and will set you back by CNY 2,299 ($339) for the 64GB variant and CNY 2,799 ($412) for the 128GB variant.
