Walkthrough

Follow these steps to complete The Winter Gambit quest:

Step 1

Once at the quest location, climb to the building’s top room and enter through the window to inspect the scroll and begin the quest.

Step 2

Go to the next location to trigger a cutscene with Big Zhao, who will then ask you to shop for ingredients.

Step 3

Go to Fan Manor in Kaifeng and speak with the vendor Liang Jingrou to purchase some lamb.

Step 4

Buy some overpriced fish from the Fishmonger standing just outside Liang’s shop.

Step 5

Return to Big Zhao and give him the Chinese Herring fish to complete the quest and claim your rewards.
