Ren Xing was investigating suspicious activity by secretly placing special charms around Buddha Fort, but he disappeared before completing his mission. You’re asked to trace his path, recover the charms, and uncover what truly happened inside the fort.

Location and How to Start

Travel to Wan Guan’s residence north of the Buddha Fort outpost and speak with him. After finding the first charm under a jar near his house, he asks you to retrieve the remaining three from key locations inside Buddha Fort.

Walkthrough

Step 1

Travel to Wan Guan's house in the north of the Buddha Fort outpost.

Step 2

Speak with him to learn about Ren Xing and recover the first charm hidden under a nearby jar. He will then ask for your help retrieving the other three charms.

Step 3

Go to the cave south of Buddha Fort. Defeat the guards at the entrance and head inside.

Step 4

Eliminate the enemies deeper within the cave.

Step 5

Blow up the gunpowder barrel to open a hidden pathway.

Step 6

Enter the new passage and collect the first missing charm.

Step 7

Next, head to the tower near the cave entrance at Wildmane Beach. There, you will encounter another guard; defeat him to move further.

Step 8

Climb the tower, and you will find the second charm. It won't be on top of the tower but halfway up the structure.

Travel to the small lake. An enemy will be guarding the area—defeat him.

Step 10

Find the last charm on a rock to the left side of the lake.

Step 11

Return to Wan Guan and report what you discovered about the guarded locations, the suspected trap, and his friend’s betrayal. After hearing everything, he tells you to keep the ritual coins, as he no longer wants them.
