The Hidden Ugliness quest is located in the Flower Expanse area in the Sundara Land of Qinghe region. Find Lady Ugly at her hut, being bullied by some kids, to begin the quest.

Here is a step-by-step guide to complete the Hidden Ugliness quest in Where Winds Meet:

Step 1: Find Lady Ugly

Reach the Flower Expanse area and find Lady Ugly at her hut in the Qinghe Region.

Step 2: Scold the kids

Upon talking and overhearing the conversations, you realise 3 kids- Ji'er, Huang Lang, and Lucky have been bullying her. Scold the kids and shoo them away from Lady Ugly.

Step 3: Console Lady Ugly

Talk to Lady Ugly again and follow her towards the Flower Expanse while engaging her story.

Step 4: Find the Letter from the Water Lady

Go back to Lady Ugly's hut and find the Letter from and you will get to know something about a flower with 'a golden blade and iron wings.'

Step 5: Interact with kids

Kids find their way back to the hut, but this time, ask them about the flower and they reveal that they know the location of the Golden-armed Mantis.

Step 6: Find Mutant Golden-armed Mantis

To catch all 3 Mutant Golden-armed Mantises in the flower expanse, follow each mantis carefully; they can fly and jump away. Be stern while picking them up. All 3 Mantises locations are marked as quest waypoint markers.

Step 7: Submit Mantis to Lady

Submit the Golden-armed Mantises to Lady Ugly and explain that those Mantis were never flowers, but actually birds.

Step 8: Taste the cake

Kids invite you to eat cake with them inside Lady Ugly's hut. As soon as you taste it, you feel dizzy and drowsy.

Step 9: Survey the house

Using Wind Sense, survey Lady Ugly's house and its surroundings. While investigating the footprints, you reach the Evercare Clinic.

Step 10: Survey the clinic surroundings

Again, use Wind Sense and survey the clinic surroundings. Find footsteps ending near the cliff where pots are kept.

Step 11: Make way into the waterfall

Jump in through the waterfall to reveal a wall hidden by vines. Using the fire arrow, burn the vines and enter the cave. Find Lady Ugly with the three kids lying inside the cave, unconscious.

Step 12: Talk to Lady Ugly

In the cave, you get to know that Lady Ugly is really an illusion, and all you were seeing was just a hallucinatory figure because you were drugged.

Step 13: Talk to Yao Yaoyao

Yao Yaoyao reveals that kids have been missing since last night, and they were found in the cave with you, half-dead.

Step 14: Check up on the kids

Go to the town and check up on the 3 kids by talking to their family members. Make sure all three are safe.

Step 15: Visit Lady Ugly's grave

Visit Lady Ugly's grave at the flower expanse and fetch the disguised balm and save the kids.

Step 16: Complete the quest

Complete the quest by paying final tributes to Lady Ugly.
