Location & How to Start
You can begin this Wandering Tale at the Scenic Waterside Pavilion near South Gate Avenue in Kaifeng.
Arrive during Wei Hour to find Wen Li-shi standing quietly by the pavilion, gazing toward the drifting boats. Interacting with her starts the tale.
How to complete Telling Truth
Here is how you can complete the Telling Truth Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet:
Step 1: Reach South Gate Avenue at Wei Hour
Go to the riverside pavilion area near South Gate Avenue. Make sure the in-game time is Wei Hour so Wen Li-shi appears.
Speak to Wen Li-shi, who asks you to help find her husband, Wen Jie, a rower who worked on large boats.
Step 2: Get on a ship and ask Xiang Yuan
Search the larger ships on the river. Locate Xiang Yuan and ask him about Wen Jie. He warns that the river is dangerous and many rowers are lost to its hidden currents.

Step 3: Go to Tianjing Dock and find Feng Lao’er
Travel to Tianjing Dock, where Feng Lao’er is stationed on one of the barges.
Speak with him to learn the truth: Wen Jie fell into the river long ago and never returned, and Wen Li-shi became ill waiting for him.
Step 4: Return to Wen Li-shi and tell her the truth
Go back to the Scenic Pavilion and gently tell Wen Li-shi what you’ve learned. This completes the Wandering Tale.
