Samsung recently announced its plans to expand its RCS services round the world and following up on its promise, they have released an update for the T-Mobile Note 4, bringing the January security patch to the device.

The update versions N910TUVS2EQB1/N910TTMB2EQB1/N910TUVS2EQB1 weighs in at a moderate 60.54MB, the update will soon be provided to all T-Mobile Note 4 users via OTA update.

The RCS is an ‘upgrade’ from the archaic SMS and MMS functionality and allows for higher quality picture messaging, group chats, location sharing, and video calls by default. The service also supports read receipts and typing indicators.
