Motorola’s Moto G7 series has four variants, three of which are sold in the U.S. The most powerful of them all, the Moto G7 Plus, isn’t available officially in the country, but if a recent discovery made by XDA Developers is anything, we may see one selling through T-Mobile.

This report stems from a recent listing that appeared on the FCC for a device believed to be the Moto G7 Plus destined for T-Mobile. The device in question has model number XT1965-T, which is closely related to the model number of the G7 Plus.

The T is for T-Mobile, something that is further confirmed by the mention of the carrier in the general info page. This should be enough to confirm the Magenta carrier will carry the Moto G7 Plus in the U.S. soon.

On the contrary, there is a strange anomaly in the details listed for the device. Apparently, the IMEI number provided in the documentation is for the standard Moto G7, which is quite strange.

What’s even more interesting is that besides T-Mobile, it’s likely that the Moto G7 Plus will be sold unlocked in the U.S. as model number XT1965-3. However, like the alleged T-Mobile variant, this model has also been listed with a Moto G7 IMEI number.

In case you didn’t know, the Moto G7 Plus is already available unofficially in the U.S. through Amazon, but here, you get the international model that only works with T-Mobile and AT&T.
