After receiving May security patch last month, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are now receiving June security patch. The update, which was released on June 29 is rolling out as an OTA update.
Both the devices should be running on Android Nougat 7.0 to receive this update. The Galaxy S7 update arrives with the build number G930TUVU4BQF6. In case you are wondering, the previous update had build number G930TUVS4BQE1.
Similarly, for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, June update arrives with the build number G935TUVU4BQF6. Previously, the build number was G935TUVS4BQE1.

The update includes various under-the-hood performance improvements as well as other minor system enhancements too. As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs.
It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.
If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
