If you are a student and were looking to pick up an Android tablet to maybe help with your studies, Best Buy may soon have a very good deal for you. According to Engadget, they have received word from a tipster that Best Buy may be bringing a student edition of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to stores on August 19th, for a price tag of $249.

The device will be the 8 GB variant, but will include a keyboard dock and USB peripheral connector (which should go well with the USB On-the-go support on the tablet), both of which will come in handy for students. The remaining specs of the device should stay the same, which include a dual-core 1 GHz TI OMAP processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 7-inch 600 x 1024 pixels display, a 3.15 MP camera, expandable microSD storage up to 64 GB, all-round connectivity with HSPA, Wi-Fi, GSM calls, and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.

So, getting this if it comes for real or are you all set on getting a Nexus 7? Do let us know in the comments!
